Although Broward College accepts certain course work in transfer toward a credential from The American College in Spain, or collaborates in other ways for generation of course credits or program credentials, other colleges and universities may or may not accept this work in transfer, even if it appears on a transcript from Broward College. This decision is made by the institution subsequently considering the possibility of accepting such credits.
The American College in Spain offers the Broward College curriculum and utilizes Broward’s course numbers and titles, catalog descriptions, course outlines, criteria for faculty selection, grading system and overall academic standards.
Courses are taught in English by local faculty in the host country who meet the qualifications as required by the regional accrediting body, the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) and are approved by Broward College.
